there's this new product made by Healthforce called Vitamineral Earth:
healthforce.com/product-earth.html
anyway, it's really delicious (gives a spicy and salty taste, from all the organic minerals) and great to add to a non sweet green smoothie. i got my blood scanned yesterday and there's some fermentation, so i was thinking of cutting back on fruit (my main source of sugar is green smoothies). so i just wanted to pass this tip on. my smoothie today was :
1 apple
1 bunch green leaf lettuce
1 bunch purple veined kale
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp or so vitamineral Earth
and a piece of kombu thrown in.

Re: Idea for non sweet green smoothies. ..
Mon, July 7, 2008 - 2:45 PMI also have cut back on the fruit in my green smoothies and instead use celery cucumber and a little tomato ( one might say these are fruits anyhow) oh yeah and half a lemon...and it tastes fine to me and is not causing me the problems for me that the fruits were. some days when I want more flavor I add a little himalayan salt
thanks for the heads up on the vitamineral earth , I will give it a try!
