Pastor Randy Carrillo,
Church of the City @ Placita Olvera
Dear Randy,
It was great talking to you yesterday regarding the interfaith activities we may share next April 22, International Earth Day.
We agreed that
• You may have morning services dedicated to “Peace on Earth” next Sunday April 22.
• Morning services may resume by noon and at that time you may wall with the people toward the nearby Chiparaky Cultural Center in front of the LA Historic State Park were The Crucified Land landscape art installation will be set.
• Early afternoon seem to be also a good time for a Kinhin Zen traditional walking peace meditation. We will learn more about this coordination with The international Buddhist Maditation Center and the Zen Center of LA after a council meeting to take place next Sunday.
• You will be listed as one of the speakers during the Sunday afternoon.
We should also coordinate with Cynthia and/or Anthony for a Yang-Na ceremony.
I will be coordinating a Mayan ceremony in the morning.
Thank you for making possible this great community venture and been part of the social and spiritual renovation on Downtown LA
Peace,
Jorge Luis Rodriguez

Subject: GREEN STAGE HIP HOP
Greetings:
Yesterday we learn more about the HeadZup hip-hop movement and the LA church; also we talk to Sun Ru and Ean amount other hip-hop artists and community spiritual healers we been working with at the Satya Yuga Arts center of West Oakland/Bekerly since December 15 last year… and we will like to review this week the opportunity to focus the music/dance schedule on Sunday April 22 on the hip-hop spiritual peace artists.
If agreed upon, a performing outdoor stage schedule will follow the interfaith call for a morning service at the Church of the City and a peace walking meditation at the nearby LA Historic CA State Park (the Cornfields) next to the CHIPARAKI Cultural Center. Digital technology and exploration on sound and visual arts are a priority for the Green Stage shows.
Kat will be compiling the schedule of performers as we nail it together (562)331-4220, Roman@afrocuba.org. The Green Stage EARTH DAY Festival is a unique event looking at ecology as a human responsibility for social and spiritual realization.
Peace,
Jorge Luis
