And as for chief... my vote goes to Dr. Bailey. I know he said she's not ready... but thats what I want!!! I love her! She is so great. She knows when to be a hard ass, and when its time to be there for someone because they need her. -

And I can't see how someone who had a big tumor 'down there' didn't know. But as they were trying to stress, if the hospital had had a free clinic, she would have had regular exams and may have caught it sooner. -

Fri, January 26, 2007 - 10:21 AMi think she knew something was wrong, cuz she had gone to the ER before, and they told her she needed to see an oncologist... but she didn't have the money, so she didn't go. that was so sad about her and her best friend, i was so happy to see the girls mom talk to her best friend at the end... that was a great ending for that part of it.
the runner guy... im not really sure, i didn't quite understand. -

Fri, January 26, 2007 - 5:50 PMThe problem with the runner was that he was severely dehydrated, so his body was turning on itself, basically. The dehydration was causing his muscles to break down, and it didn't help that he had a head cold. Unfortunately, because of his cold, he took aspirin, and that just accelerated the process that the dehydration had caused.
Or so says my brother-in-law, who's a paramedic. -

But, if that's not the case, I'm torn between it being Burke, or Derek. I just can't decide. -

but if he still does, i want it to be Dr. Bailey. She's the only one who wasn't acting like a child about it. She's teh only one who cares that that means that Richard will no longer be there.... the rest of them were acting just like my 4 year old. But... that probably wont happen. He already told her he doesn't think she's ready... which sucks. -
