first and foremost, you need to check out "Winds". the guitarist, Karl Tidemman is out of control. he's a sweeper, bar-none.

also, Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom is another psycho. kinda self-indulgent, but great none-the-less

waldermar sorychita-he was in despair, and grip inc w/ dave lombardo. great tapping technique.

and if you haven't heard them, then you must go out and get Cynic "Focus". just get the album.

and finally, my personal favorite, james murphy....the lead guitarist from:
