I am no expert on muzzle-loaders, though I understand the basics of how they operate. It seems to me that the advantage of a muzzle-loader is its simplicity, but the disadvantage is in the ignition system (think flintlocks & matchlocks). Percussion caps are cool but they have to be manufactured and are 1-use/disposable (I think). Could a rechargeable battery or a piezo-electric clicker be used to create the ignition spark for a muzzle loader?

You're supposed to use those little paper, capgun rolls. If I have them, I use them. If not, I use a mixture of citric acid, hydrogen peroxide, and hexamine tablets. -
