What are those pants that the troupe is wearing at the Caravan Dance Collective - Int'l Women's Day?

Are they the ones made by Missy P? They look to have a multi-layerd leg but I'm not sure. They sure are pretty and I'd like to get a pair.

Thu, April 30, 2009 - 2:24 PMthey might be wearing a couple pairs of what is called Zen pants. I have the long ones and they are easy enough to layer up. Check out the Gypsy Caravan website to be sure cause she does sell her stuff there. :) -

Mon, May 4, 2009 - 3:50 PMcan't find a quick pic, but do you know what a Palazzo pant is?
If so, just take that pant leg and put it on a tapered to fit waist (no gathering) and you have a zen pant.
Or think of a circle skirt without a waist band just fitted to the waist with darts and shaping at the seams to fit to a hip/waist line (the hips in this case cause of the belly dancing) and make legs instead of it a circle skirt...That is pretty much a zen pant. :)
Full legs to look like a skirt, and fitted hip area so no bulkiness. :)

Tue, May 5, 2009 - 4:53 PMDo I know what Palazzo pants are??? Ha Ha Ha. I'm old enough to have worn them back . . . way back . . . in the day. Now I wish I had saved them. Everything old is new again. Thanks for the discription. If you can find it post the pic. I'd love to see it.

Tue, May 5, 2009 - 12:32 PMAt Int'l Womens Day, we're wearing zen pants with sweeps and/or sides - all by Missy P. We're also wearing triangle fringe, which is not by Missy P. You can find zen pants, sides, sweeps and shorties on the Gypsy Caravan website at www.gypsycaravan.us/. I love layering with the zen pants - you can create a lot of neat looks!

Now that I know exactly what Zen pants are I can see that the layered look comes with the addition of sides and sweeps. I really love this look. Very simple and elegant. Once I get my butt size down a bit more I'm going to order some from the Gypsy Caravan site. Again, thanks for responding.

Wed, May 6, 2009 - 2:38 PMWhy wait? The are very versitile and fit nicely on all shapes and sizes. I can say this cause when I was considering them I thought for sure they wouldn't work for me, especially on the height thing, but TA DA....Paulette found a pair and they had to be mine :)
