THANK YOU for helping us reach this 1 year milestone -- without you, none of
this would be possible. We look forward to sharing our gratitude and celebration
with the Soul Fire Family ~ a non-denominational and eclectic community,
formally welcoming all people seeking access to their authentic natures as we
hold space to help make the world a better place, One Fire At A Time.

Bring a friend, bring a song, bring a new instrument, bring a prayer, bring your
sadness, bring your joy...we honor YOU and what you bring to the circle. All are
welcome.

The most exciting birthday gift that we've received yet is that
BRIGHTHAWK will be joining us from Colorado!!

DRUMMING WITH BRIGHTHAWK
To Register: 301-977-4547, mzimani@consciouscollaborations.com

Drumming is a very joyful experience and gets to be a whole lot more
fun when you begin to understand the language of the drum, basic
drumming technique, and a set of skills to help you get on board the
rhythm train. Join Bright Hawk for a fun filled class of drumming from
the heart, feeling the groove and creating the polyrhythm. Please
bring drums, percussion toys, and water. Some drums will be provided.

About Brighthawk:
Bright Hawk is an inspired and inspiring story teller, djembe drummer,
performer, teacher and playful spirit. She shares her expansive and
playful spirit with the all night Fire Circle and drumming communities
she is a part of.

In 1994 Bright Hawk began performing with Mz. imani and Rhythm Alive!
She has performed with Circle Skin and Bone, Sister Adsum, Jeff
McBride, Abbi Spinner, and Billy Woods, to name a few. She has studied
Abdoul Doumbia from Mali for more than a decade and performs in
benefits for the Mali Assistance Project. She currently lives in
Boulder, Colorado.

Please take advantage of the opportunity to study with this
extraordinary woman of the drum. And tell all your friends!!!

The community potluck will begin at 5:00. If you know what you would like to
bring, please email Debby at dsugarm@efn.org. To limit our time in the kitchen,
please bring your dish ready to serve, complete with serving utensils. Please
provide an ingredient list for your dish, so everyone knows what is on your dish
(a 3x5 index card works great for this). Please remember to bring a plate,
eating utensils and a water bottle. We are collectively aware that we want our
potlucks (& our events) to create lot's of energy, with little to no trash.

Thank you for taking all this in and Helping to Make the World a Better Place!

peace matters,
The Soul Fire Inside Crew
