oh boy.. its hard to actually write it out the way i do it without the benefit of visuals... lemme see if I can work that out on paper and then I'll get back on here!

BUT ... in the meantime you can weave them into your own hair... separate a chunk of hair into 2 pieces, starting at the middle of the dread, crisscross the divided hair back and forth in front and behind the dread tightly... secure at the end with a little braiding elastic.

ok Mellie.. sorry it took me so long to get back here.. comp was down and then tribe was down and well... bleck..

anyhoo... the way I do it is I take 2 deads and make loops with them (tied in knots so they kind of resemble the breast cancer pink ribbon) .. they will be secured around the buns I made with my own hair.. then I tie another dread between them... from there I just weave the rest of the dreads in and out and around those three and pin them to my own hair at the buns and between the buns so they dont fall off during laybacks.. does this make sense?? If it doesnt I can try and take pics of the process!
