Ya know, I never really liked Oprah much. I think my distaste for the woman was usually summed up in a phrase that went something like "I hate Oprah, she's a tampon". I have a strong, conscious urge to resist anything that will further stereotype me into a soft, oxygen network-lovin, oprah-watchin, bon-bon eatin', sad aging "cat lady". (Again, with the cat lady...oh, boy) But really, I just don’t want to be a 21st century spinster stereotype.
Back to the subject at hand... Oprah is not a married woman, I never thought about that. Her and her Man - Stedman have been together happily for a very long time, and they're not married. Right on, Oprah!
I was reading a little bit about her on some online biography... and ya know, I'm starting to like her more and more. She's a pretty cool chick.
So, from now on...I don’t care what anyone says, I say:
thumbs up, Oprah...yr pretty damn cool.
