Re: Merry HappyLandMas!
Tue, January 1, 2008 - 8:14 PMWhy thank you. We're planning on aggressively increasing our HappyLandMas for the new year.
Construction is beginning on a new themepark as we speak. For now, it's being bandied around the Pentagon as project 'Islamabad Islamabad'.
Our first ride for the new year is projected to be a coup de loop, a looping rollercoaster with a randomly switching track. -

Wed, January 2, 2008 - 4:55 AMCould we put this in the ride somewhere ?
Maybe with less hair on Eve... ? -

Re: Merry HappyLandMas!
Thu, January 3, 2008 - 12:55 AMCan we put what in the ride? Non-sequiturs?
Maybe throwing a design flaw in the switching mechanism would be enough.

Thu, January 3, 2008 - 5:40 PMAll that might be better suited for Angel Mountain; Detroit's newest urban renewal themepark.
Land of the Rory Calhoun, the catfight, lock in a sock, and our very own 'HUD on Ice tribute to razzle dazzle'. -

Dear Charles Bukowski:
Thanks for sending the poems.
I am sorry to have to return them. I SAW A TRAMP LAST NIGHT was a very near thing with us indeed. I still think we are doing wrong in rejecting it.
Please try us again.
Sincerely yours,

Re: Merry HappyLandMas!
Thu, January 3, 2008 - 7:01 PMI see. You were thinking of a themepark based on lost opportunity. This is about as unlikely as cheating physical law; the conservation of mass in the universe.
It just so happens that the Fiddlehead is a bar on 'the boulevard of broken dreams', the merchandising strip the punters must pass through in order to gain access to the rides. Once finished with their experience they must return the way they came.
Loss is the park mascot; the Mickey Mouse of Angel Mountain. -

Re: Merry HappyLandMas!
Thu, January 3, 2008 - 10:00 PMThe park mascot is made of aluminum foil and Mickey Mouse has nothin to do with it. -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.

Wed, January 9, 2008 - 6:29 AMDuring the holiday season, I saw a few K. Gordon Murray short films about Santa Claus and it got me thinking.

A few motheaten furries (skunk, wolf, Piss in Boots) might be just the thing to have on hand. Your thoughts, please. -
