In response to all the drama and bs on the cruiser list, and on the ride lately...and to the fact that you can't post to it anymore an its now been disabled....to all the people who, have helped spiral this to a point of exclusion because of fear. This is simply silly!
I am really disappointed in all that I have heard going on with the Happy Thursday Cruisers. I really don't like to hear that we are creating so much of our own problems....If we are Blue, its only because that is what has been projected and reacted to on a part of us...I have seen and been annoyed and had to correct many of the regular cruisers before, for open drinking, or rude behavior, and mine has been corrected too!!!....I am very disappointed to hear how exclusionary this has all become and it is discousting to me. People don't have to be in costume, or on cruiser or pimped out bikes....that is so fucking stupid, you may as well start charging inniation fees...This is not what we are about, we are about having a happy thursday. People can self govern and we can too, even when its 800+. I think the real issue is that some people have control issues and others have issues with image and clicks....GET OVER IT. Personally I vote that we have no contol that it is more like critical mass and that we fucking take that mic from Chris,....at this point i am so disappointed that I would take the police being there to some of the attitudes that are...!

Thu, June 7, 2007 - 7:12 AMI miss Happy Thursday. Critical mass just isn't the same. It's fun, but so big you can't really see all of the lovely faces that make a ride like Happy Thursday so much fun. I dunno what this drama is, I can only imagine, but I think I agree with "the Pain" if it's not kept light, airy and welcoming you will find yourself with too much agenda to enjoy it. Critical mass has Police riding in it, some of them really enjoy it, but the uniformed presence helps curb the drunks. And some people take extra liberties and need a good slap in the face from time to time, that's gonna happen anywhere, with anything.
