Hathors Sister

The Hathors Sister is a purely creative force. One who aspires to create beauty in the world, like a healing force which overwhelms adversity. The Hathors Sister is also a muse, bringing inspiration, adventure, intrigue, and joy to others. The Hathors Sister is
nearly mythical in her beauty, but does not always stand out in a crowd, her beauty fills her from within and overflows in all the forms of her creations. If you are a sister of Hathor, I invite you to join us. Or if you are a lover of the Hathors Sister, please join us in
the celebration of all that is of Hathor. Hathors Sister believes that nature should be befriended. When we surround ourselves with natural beauty or uplifting elements, they complement and balance our lives, thus invoking a presence of well-being. Such an environment, filled with music and objects of art which inspire us, will improve our disposition and our health.
Art and nature have been intertwined throughout history. The symbolism of four elements pervades both. These archetypes are imprinted on the human consciousness. We are deeply moved by them. We have a fascination with symbolism, which largely shapes our internal process. The element of mystery prevails in our work. Our creative process is a life long search using the language of art and music to explore the depth of the enigma called life.
For Hahtors Sister this is a metaphysical exploration.
Marta Wiley and I, Nina Pak, aspire to create music that has this affective potential, we call it Hathors Sister. As artists we work in many media. The Hathors Sister Music is a colaborative project which adapted some of Nina Paks poetry for musical compositions created by Marta Wiley. It is an experiment with voice, using mantras; and various instruments and objects to make sound, Which brings an unusual, haunting flavour to the music. Vocals are by Marta
Wiley and Nina Pak, with an occasional guest performer.
But Hathors Sister Tribe is much more than a fan site for people who like our music. I have always been close to the Goddess Hathor and love ancient history, Egypt and folklore. I tend to gather women close to me who are creative, have many skills in the arts, and are at the same time Muses, inspiring others. It was my wish to create a sanctuary for such women, to be supportive. A place where we could inspire each other. As this did not manifest, as I had dreamed of it in the physical world, I decided to create something here. Perhaps it is even better, as the virtual net is much larger and reaches many more people. I have found by talking to my sisters that many of us have had the same desire to create some kind of collaboritive community for our own inspiration, and to help other women. Marta has this dream as much as I do. For years we have talked about it.
The music is only one aspect of what we can create.
I feel what Hathors Sister is, can only be the sum of all
who participate, and I don’t want to limit what you might have to offer creatively.
The tribe is also open to men who are supportive and who need our inspiration.
Make of it what you dream.
