    back when i had disposable income (read: pre-kids and still working), i was an anthropologie junkie. their stuff is beautiful and great quality. but big big big bucks.

      someone else recommended that to me, but opposite problem, it's only USA.

      Maybe we should all plan some cross border shopping?

          i just went on a spreee!
          a bunch of new tops (realized now w/ a part time job i can't be wearing the same old stretched out stained shirts) from cotton basics

                free people has really neat stuff -- they carry a lot of their wares at nordstrom's. but sooooo pricey.

                i have been meaning to mention that while i'm sure h&m is sweatshop stuff (i know it's not high quality), they usually have a lot of cute things that are on the cheap and are great for a seasons worth of wear.

                  I've been shopping the online sale rack and got such fun stuff (freepeople). Yep, pricey but so worth it for a few favorite things:-)

                  I went to h&m in SF once and just didn't love it...but I only went once so maybe I just missed it...
                  (:-( how do you find out if a store is sweat shop stuff? I want to look stuff up like that...I don't want to buy if it is...)
