I'm totally confused.
PK is now six months, and fits into 6 to 9 month onesies, as well as some 6 to 12 month stuff.
But - As I'm trying to find a coat for her upcoming trip to the mid-atlantic states for Solstice I notice 6 to 12 month coats seem huge on her, and 6 to 9 month stuff is mostly buntingish type stuff, y'know - the little baby that doesn't move around type clothing.
So I guess what I'm asking is should I buy a oversized coat for her that she may or may not fit into by December, or is there another third option?

Re: Very confused - six month sizes
Tue, November 27, 2007 - 2:09 PMHmmm... I vote buy big. Worst case scenario you put a sweater under it to "fill it up". Juni always seems to be growing faster than I think is possible, so I'm always buying a size ahead of what she's wearing now. -

Re: Very confused - six month sizes
Tue, November 27, 2007 - 3:40 PMI second the buying 6-12 months, at that age they grow overnight.
I remember constantly thinking "my girl won't fit into this for months!!"....and then three weeks later I would try it on her again and it would be on the small side. -

Re: Very confused - six month sizes
Thu, November 29, 2007 - 9:29 PMI have had this issue with clothes too and since babies are different sizes at the same age, I wish sizes were changed to weight like with diapers. Like when I order online, some six month stuff is already too small on my 4 month old, while some too big still.
