aloha and welcome! once upon a time, we were hooping on sunday evenings at queen's beach. it was a lovely time - and many other fire performers would show up to practice also. i am not too sure if people are still doing this. i would definitely be up for coming out again on sunday evenings.

Update! I ran into a girl who used to Hoop with us - she now continues to train with the acrobats at Queen's beach. She said they still meet weekly on Sundays at 5:00pm - she told me with a pout that we (the hula-hoopers) just stopped coming and that we should join them again. So we are welcome back with them with open arms. :)

I didn't read any of these postings until just now but I actually emailed ellen earlier this week about returning hoop group back to its glory days, back to the pseudo circus atmosphere it once was.. today at the beach it was so beautiful to see all the hoopers converge with the acrobats and jugglers and poi people grooving to the music. Ancelyn and her familiy's bright new energy, Vron's v-ron-y v-ron-yness and, Susie, where did she magically reappear from? wonderful energy floating around! I'm so happy to have our collective desires to bring hoop group back manifested just the way it did. Sweet day, i'm delighted to have shared it with those who came and hope this continues so well on a regular basis!
