We are in an area called Jamison Ring. It is seen as the ring just to the west of the Cow Palace. This is a hugely central location and will allow us to really have a great presence at this event. The space is not grass we will want to make sure that we bring sleeping pads along for comfort. It is, however, covered by a large shade cloth.

If it's the ring that is directly across from the Cow palace then it is not the same place we camped last year. Last year we were in the ring next to Otter Camp.

It's not the same place as last year but it seems as pleasant as we make it. I just got a little excited! We have some yellow RFB tape...and it seems to be quite effective for holding space. Erin and I will be there early on Thursday and then will be working a shift at 5:30. BTW, there is no grass, I think it's some type of fine mulch which will hopefully absorb spills nicely...yes, there WILL be some spills cuz it's gonna be a party! Further, we are getting a keg so if you'd like to chip in let me know and this way we can avoid bottles-n-cans and use "bliky cups!" If you are not sure whether to bring it you probably should.

Yep...welcome to Harmony Fest, Greg! All the workshops and non-musical activities are what make this one of my favorite fests. Up until last year, music was secondary but it kept me coming back. It's much different now with Peak and bigger musical names but I think it's all working wonderfully. I'm really excited to be going back. So is spun monkey!!! he's jumpin around like a little nut waiting to get back there ;-)
