Sudden headaches

Has anyone every had this experience?

I had 2 sudden headaches today, both on the top right side of my head, almost like a lightening bolt in my brain. I had one last night and a couple of days ago as well. I'm wondering what they mean.

To note, I have had aome tension in my right shoulder and have found myself clenching my teeth on the right side quite a bit these past few weeks. I also haven't been sleeping or eating particularly well, so I'm wondering if they're stress-related.

    Since you mentioned stress plus pain in your neck and shoulder, I would actually start by recommending massage. Then maybe a detox or cleanse would be in order after you address the current symptoms. In other words, get some more immediate relief from the headaches, then cleanse to prevent another bout.

        I also thought about this afterward. I use some essential oils to help ease headaches, which might give you even quicker relief until you can schedule a massage or find a friend to offer one. The blend I like best is M-Grain from Young Living, but other blends are also available at health food stores, etc. Plain lavender on the temples can also help.
