Folks,
I apologize if this is too off-topic, but I was doing a little web-snooping for info on Omega-3s (i.e. food sources *other* than salmon). I stumbled across this site:
www.whfoods.com/genpage.php
I thought it had some good info and just wanted to share.

Re: Info on Omega-3s....
Wed, October 28, 2009 - 9:47 PMI bought a bottle! I mixed a spoonful into my morning iced coffee! I used a shaker bottle to get it to blend. Didn't notice any taste difference and at least I now have another source of Omega-3s.
Oh, and walnuts...yummm! Just can't go crazy with them because of the calories.

Re: Info on Omega-3s....
Fri, October 30, 2009 - 7:36 AMI give fish oil to my cat for his asthma which helps, but use flaxseed for myself. One precaution worth mentioning is that if you have any kind of disorder with blood clotting/thinning (or bruise easily), you should talk to your Dr. first. I was advised to be careful with omega supplements for this reason but overall the health benefits far outweigh the risks. Thanks for sharing the resource.
Cheers.

Re: Info on Omega-3s....
Fri, November 6, 2009 - 4:59 PMI put flaxseed and coconut oils in my morning smoothies! I've had so many revelations about the stuff you can put into a smoothie and not even notice... spinach, oils, wheat germ... it's so great, especially for folks like me who don't like solid food right after waking up.
