Hi.
I am a boy 27years old from iran.
I practice bellydance for 1.5years.
I am thin and I decided to start bodybuilding too mid bellydance.
now I'd like to know is it opposite with bellydance?,of course I don't want to be so big like professional bodybuilders only I want to be fit.
I want to go yoga class too.
plz guid me can I make a harmony between bellydance,yoga and bodybuilding.
I love bellydance.
really because in iran we have no bellydance classes for boys we practise it by dvds.
how many days should I practice weekly?and how many hours should I practice bellydance daily till I become a very good bellydancers.

done too much.
however I believe a little is ok,a combination of your body building and yoga could be very effective for you and your bellydancing.

Wed, October 14, 2009 - 10:07 AMI think the secret to building strength without building bulk is to do more repetitions with lighter weights...instead of lifting the heaviest thing you can- ease off and keep your weights on the lower side to start.

Thu, October 15, 2009 - 11:01 AMFor the bodybuilding, maybe do 1 day upper body, one day lower body, one day yoga, repeat these three days, the rest one day? This should give you a balance between strength and flexibility.
I try to practice 6 days a week for 1 hour. Doesn't always work out but I get at least 4-5 days a week. -
