Sacred Full Moon Gathering 7:30pm
This being our first full moon of the year, we will focus on what it
is we would like to create for ourselves and as a community this year.

Our Wednesdsay series has become a 1st Wednesdsay of the month series
and on Feb. 6th we will be having a "Georgian Supra" potluck feast, at
which we will be celebrating the birthdays of many of our friends.
Please contact Joel@heARTbeatColletive.org for details and to RSVP.

February 19th-23rd is Forestdance Costa Rica and it truly is shaping
up to be an exquisite experience. ( I hope I can convince myself to
come back). There is still room for around 20 more attendees, and the
group that's already coming is a fantastic one. Come early and stay
late folks. Check out www.Forestdance.net for more info, or email if
you have any questions.

April-dates TBA: April should be huge for us here as we plan to build
our new sacred sweat lodge, and continue with our cob fence project.
Our recent collaborations with the kids from City Year has been really
inspiring and they are on board for the cob wall project. Stay tuned.

May 2nd Friday, Annual Walpurgisnacht Black and White Masquerade Ball

Aug. 27th-Sept. 2nd Forestdance Massachusetts

1. votepoke.org jan. 16th Are you registered to vote? Use
vote poke to make sure you are registered to vote on super Tuesday,
Feb. 5th. January 16th is the deadline to register in Massachusetts.
(Thanks to move on.org for this info).
Please consider taking time on You Tube with the candidates before
choosing one. It is easy to get caught up with the tides of others,
but You Tube or the candidates personal sites really do offer us an
easy way to look deep into the "eyes" of each candidate. I personally
feel there are two candidates or maybe even three this year whose
election can create varying levels of true change.

2.the Story of Stuff: www.storyofstuff.com

I know many of you may have heard about this by now, but it really is
worth checking out.
The Story of Stuff exposes the connections between a huge number of
environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a
more sustainable and just world. It'll teach you something, it'll make
you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in
your life forever.

3. cosmetic database www.cosmeticdatabase.org Under a legal
loophole companies can put almost anything into their products under
the label "fragrance". This group through a grant has put together a
database of what exactly is in the fragrances of common hair products,
skin products, perfumes, oral products, make ups, etc, and guess what,
much of the stuff poses high risks of cancer has neurotoxins to name a
few. The database is comprehensive.

What an amazing year 2007 was. Hey, that's the year the heARTbeat
Collective was born. Thank you to everyone who has graced us with
your friendship, your dancing, your expression, your truth, your
tears, your shoveling or cob making, your cooking, your yurt, and your
support.

See you around the fire,

Jason
