I'm going to be working on a multi-disc DVD and CD bellydance training series for body alignment and core strengthening, sometime this summer hopefully, in Buffalo.

For three different segments, we want to have three different shooting environments.

(1) Oudoors (maybe Baird Point, or a beach)
(2) A stage/theatrical, with lighting
(3) Someplace that "feels like home", like a living room perhaps, so the viewer can get the sense that they (s)he can exercise along in his/her own environment

So I have a question for y'all... I have ideas but...

Can you think of a few good locations for (1) (2) or (3) ?

Tnx!

For outdoors Glen Park is pretty. The Sister Islands at Niag Falls, U.S. side. Really anything over there is nice. The rose garden at Delaware Park, Hoyt Lake or even the steps at Albright Knox.
For stage...there is the Ghostlight Theater. There are several small theaters in the city that might allow that.
For "homey" atmosphere maybe a local studio...it may be tough to find a living room in the summer with kids being home and family vacations and so on.

    Just some thoughts :)

I second the Delaware Park/Hoyt Lake idea for outdoors.

The Alt Theatre might be nice for a stage performance.

For the living room setting... that's a tough one. How long would you need the space? You could get a nice hotel suite with a large sitting area. But now that I think about it, they might be against you filming commercially... I don't know. You may just have to invade someone's house.
