2006 Chinese New Year

The 2006 Chinese New Year falls right on my birthday, January 29th, which is a Sunday. I was thinking that we could go out to the woods and celebrate, not only my b-day, but, more importantly, the Chinese New Year.

Depending on the weather around that time, I just may be out there over night on the 28th....you know, to bring in the new year right. In other words, if the weather is anything like it is now....I'll be there, fuck the coldness. Also, ther more of us there are, the warmer we'll all be.

Which reminds me...some weekend real soon I would like to get on finishing up that dome.........................large tarps and tarp money is accepted.

Don't forget, this is coming up very soon. Only 11 more days.

Traditionally red is a lucky color for the new year celebrations...

This is going to be the year of the (fire) Dog.

I saw kenny and Layla last night and they want to come out too . . .
And fickle wants to come - but he works till 7 so he wont be out till after that -
i figure if were all warm enough well be out late huh?
            - gotta wait till it gets dark to light off fireworks ya know . . .

also - Ape Rule and i went out the other day to check on things - and throw some new tarps over the dome - its downright cozy in there right now . . .

A lot of the woods are still underwater - and there are some pretty wet areas between the parking area and the dome - but the dome site (center camp from heartburn) is fine (well - the heartshaped pit is full of water - but its actually really pretty . . . ApeRule, you got the pitchers you took ?!?!?!)

            more to come . . . . .
