Following up on Hash's post on technology and homelessness, I dug a little deeper and found the United Souls of Awareness Walk who are producing www.theillumination.tv a docu-comedy of their quest to walk across America.

These folks are/were from the homeless community in the SoCal area. From their website:

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to establish an independent Network where artists of all kinds can
meet and share ideas to grow. Together we can bring about a change in our current
options of censored media and senseless programming. More and more people are
turning off their televisions and scouring the internet for some kind of positive
inspiration. We will be producing documentary films, music and art as we build a
positive platform for people to gather express themselves freely.

Sounds like our neighborhood, does it not? I've sent them an email suggesting the leg of their trip which comes our way should not pass us by. What say you, fellow Heartside Tribesmates?
