The bi-monthly meeting of the HDNA interim board of directors was called to order at 5:07 p. m.

J.Schuen welcomed visitors J.Hash and M.Mark.

The Agenda was approved with the Treasurer's Report item added after Approval of Minutes item.

A. Harrel moved to have minutes from the 7.10.06 posted with these minutes on Tribe as well as in print.
Approved w/o objection.

Treasurer's Report - no report this meeting.

A review of the definition of a Quorum according to current bi-laws was entertained.

Old Business -
B. Pekich moved to open the floor for Executive Director election.
V. Reed seconded.
Approved w/o objection.

The President's office and Secretary's office ran unapposed and were approved w/o objection.

B.Pekich moved to postpone the nominations for Vice-President until the August 21. 2006 meeing.
V. Reed seconded.
Approved w/o objection.

V. Reed nominated Derek Lee for Treasurer.
B. Pekich seconded.

R. Frederick nominated himself for Treasurer.
Lawrence Orlando seconded.

Derek Lee was nominated Treasurer.

V. Reed moved to add James Hash as an interim director.

B.Pekich moved to postpone further director nominations until the August 14, 2006 meeting.

Approved w/o objection.

V.Reed moved that the office of President and the office of Treasurer be designated as the required signatiories on all financial accounts.
J.Hash seconded.
Approved.

New Business -
Rick Frederick raised the question of remaining unpaid dues for current, serving members. A reminder of the stipulation in the bi-laws prohibiting bar on participation for lack of payment was put forth.
