www.amazon.com/Sorcerers-.../1593304897

Chapter 1: The Sight
Chapter 2: Inner Fire
Chapter 3: Tools of Art
Chapter 4: Dreaming True and Faring Forth
Chapter 5: Past, Present, and Future Lives
Chapter 6: Familiars
Chapter 7: The Magic Mirror
Chapter 8: Going into the Field
Chapter 9: The Elementals
Chapter 10: Ghosts and Exorcisms
Chapter 11: Magic, Initiation and The Great Work

I'd best sum it up a practical guide for the new practitioner of the magical arts.
Crowfoot includes lots of personal examples in the book. Of particular interest are the exorcisms in Hekate's name.
  • Jay! Been looking for him on the web tought he seemed very inactive. Now i know why :-)
    Awsome!!

The exorcism sounds interesting indeed and a role i think she is extremely suitable for.
Both as a martial sort of deity, aswell as the realm she presides in. Particullary the doorway aspect, and to cloose gateways again denying spirits to use it. Oh and the binding aspect, i used it it once with very good result.

Protection and reversal magick by Jason Miller is a good read too, since it,s based on his hekate workings. As for magickal books, it seems like the wast majority is beginner guides. Preparations e.t.c bla bla

Im excited about this book, i like some of his ideas presented in crossroads. Especially his table of rituals! Very inspiering and brought ideas aswell as a good platform for deeper research. Been using it many times. Crowfoot in his nature is a bit unconventional, skipping the bulls* and get,s to the core i have noticed. I believe the book could give a good insight into alot of different beeings that most writers fear to bring up.

Speaking about this category of books..
Also look out for key to the crossroads by Sorita d este. Some of the artwork, and the incense recepies are inspiering.. but the interwievs.. well, let,s say that70%of them could be skipped.. and some even radiated really sucky wibes. It cant be too hard finding REAL witches in great britain. For example im interested in the priestess they had brought in from germany.. The core people, not the newbies in interwiev.

ok im babbling away! This book is exciting indeed!! Thanx for bringing it to notice!!

    • I have now read this book. At a first glance i was disapointed, because i felt like.. oh noo.. not another beginners guide!
But as i keept on reading i found the book better and better. It covers many of his personal storys, very interesting indeed. Wish he wrote more. This is then rounded by exorcises that i find most usefull, aswell as some very good ideas. It also covers a very interesting and elaborate description of an exorcism.. tought i do miss a better description of the tools and spirits used.

He writes about topics not displayed in fluffy new age literature. Also about spirits ( and evil ones) he has encountered.. magickal and psychic attacks e.t.c About haunted places. But the most interesting is the personal stories. They also teatch a great deal. Good book, i would recomend it.

But - it,s also noteworthy that Hekate is many things, and has many fields. His calling seems to deal alot with specific things to my eyes. So if you are interested in that subject that book is a treasure.
