I was looking trought the topics to find the article about Turkeys flag, but i couldent find it, so i put the topic here. On monday morning going to work i noticed something very bright in the sky. I then saw the morning star, polestar just next to the cresent moon. Unfortunately i had no time to take a picture. I found it amazing because it connects so good to our tribe.
Im not sure if these constellations looks different in the US ( or have changed now) but the phenomenen was observable here in sweden. So have a look in the morning or evening sky and you may see it too. It feels like a magickal event.

Re: Something in the sky to be amazed about.
Mon, December 3, 2007 - 3:02 AMhi,
yes and the crescent moon and the star came from hekate to the flag of turkey:
when byzanthium (istanbul) was in war with makedonian the goddess hekate protected
the city- she warned the people of the city with a bright light against the soldiers that wanted
to attack the city during the dawn.
and so the symbols of the goddess hekate- the crescent moon and the star get the symbols
of the city- and the modern flag of turkey ist the adoption of the symbol of ancient byzanthium.

Re: Something in the sky to be amazed about.
Sat, December 29, 2007 - 4:49 PMIt was all in the sky for 3 days. Amazing! I like when things - storys like this connects back to present time. It,s a sort of spiritual moment, thus i wished i had time to watch it for longer then i did. Present time is mostly just chasing a clock.
