(Last night on PBS, I watched Standing Silent Nation, and I learned alot on hemp farming on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and how the DEA and our government have taken agressive measures to stop them from harvesting their industrial hemp. Tribal sovereignty refers to the inherent authority of indigenous tribes to govern themselves and in this case the Oglala Sioux Tribe are not being treated as a sovereign nation.)

Industrial hemp is non-psychoactive low-THC varieties of the cannabis sativa plant. Currently, it is illegal for U.S. farmers to grow industrial hemp because it is improperly classified as a "drug" under the Controlled Substances Act.

i'm totally addicted to HEMP STREET!!
the almond hand and body creme is the best, i swim alot in my mom's salt water pool and everynight i put that stuff on my hands and feet.....it's wonderful!!

question? are you making any shampoo are anything like that? gonna need some all natural stuff for our road trip to hornings and red rocks...probably going to be bathing in the rivers alot.... :)

deodorant update

We have worked out the deodorant staining problem, and have come up with a new formula that doesn't leave the white marks on your clothes. We also have another new scent ~ earth spice (cedar, pachoulli, sandal wood, rosemary, lemongrass)

So we now have earth spice, lemongrass, and lavender scented deodorants in a twist up container.

Dragon Muscle Rub rocks!

whoa people, if ya'll haven't tried this yet, you're seriously missing out on some intensely soothing muscle sensations! i'm totally digging the green dragon which is warming and cooling and has a delightful cinnamon clove menthol scent. i love how it blends into your skin with ease and doesn't leave you greasy. randy really likes the blue dragon, which is the extra strength cooling rub.

what's your favorite deoderant scent?

We have successfully created a couple of deoderants and are now just waiting for the packaging supplies to be shipped in. While we are in the waiting stage, we wanted to hear from you.... what scents would you like to have? Right now we have a lemon grass and a lavender scent created. I have requested the calendula scent that Toms is using... that one is my favorite. I know Kirk wants to make some kind of spicy woodsy smelling one too. Anyone have any other requests?

I love it!

recently got a cold sore...........did the ice cube bit, then used the Hemp St. tingle Mint Lip Balm. Worked great! Cold sore gone mostly...no scabby bits, just some ....welll...TMI, but I'm pleased with the results. My only suggestion would be to add some Tea Tree oil to one of them to make a "cold sore" treatment.
I like the idea of putting the lip balms in a tube!
Way to make a difference, thanks Ya'll!

shampoo and conditioner

hey hemp street queen! i am really interested in trying out ya'lls hempy shampoo and conditioner! my hair is really thick and sometimes frizzy, especially when it's freshly clean. i'm always looking for good shampoos to nourish my coarse hair. holler when it's ready for the public!
