Epic To-Be-Ness and The Bollocks of Saving Elation

Swift colors Outrace the peristalsis of the Weird Night
Twisting spine meets the wide vibration of line, line with twist, thick as a wrist holding what's human, Hands
Potato turns to print, bark to spice, burlap to plague to mutation to Revolvers
I dove down the throat of the night, and choked it, flailing;
EXHAUSTATION! and fell to the belly, to the ocean. The inverse splash roars in my ears, ears like eyes, watching the foam, a trillion liquid spheres with sound, orbiting and invisible.
I made the ocean one thing, and
I swallowed it backwards in time
Found it behind my belly
And I feed it now with swift colors, and when I curl up small enough to fit inside a single drop of water
On my hand, without shivering, only elating,
When the breeze hits, and hits me whole
And when the huge dog lurks over the snail, I don't believe nuthin'bout neither.

Did you make it? Do you know the big love I have for you all? You're in my thoughts. And I trust that you'll celebrate big for this. I celebrate you. Send me a GD address already. Kisses to everyone. Don't forget Robyn's squelching, and that with a viking on board, there's nothing you can't pillage.

Congratulations, Sailors. I'm so damn proud.

Once you sober up (not in a SOBER way, of course), don't work too fast. I can't make it till June.
Heraclitus Tshirt ideas

I'm here in Ubud Indo trying to get a tshirt together for the Heraclitus. The idea is to have the ship on front and maybe some Sunday toasts on back. I was also thinking of having a small cutout of the old sail in the shape of a mini sail either on the back near the neck or over where one of the sails of the ship is.
Any ideas? Suggestions for ship design? Should it be abstract? Anyone know somewhere i can get these made. Cheapest i have come across is $15 a shirt to make. The end result would be to sell these shirts to raise money for the ship. You can post photos in this tribe, keep them under 1 MB.
cheers

T-Shirts ordered

There is an initial run of 20 shirts being made.
Really nice breeze through cotton in black or white.
Men's and Women's shirts
Heraclitus on front and Toasts on back.
Also a patch of the sail near the collar in the back

Yay... I get them around the 3rd week in July. I'mm take pics and post them here. If the interest is good we can see about a campaign to sell them. We can also probably get orders first and people can choose exactly what they want before we print them.

Had an amazing time at the club last night

I got to DJ at the Sri Lankan club Tramp through a contact that Jay made last week while he was on the radio. What a wonderful experience to be out with most of the crew in a nightclub with our own reserved table. Everyone was in high spirits and vibing well. Lo made an interesting observation that we were doing Cultural Ecology studies last night. Mafia, rich kids and plastic westerners(atleast my view). Anyway, great experience and a good moment to let off some pent up steam. I will post party pics in a few days

Hey, our mainsail is being made in Sri Lanka as we speak, by Frank Ullmer & Co, who already fabricated our old foresail over 10 years ago. Our old mainsail by the way has lasted 12 years!
We graciously accept contribution to pay for the sail, and we are happy then to send you a piece of that legendary wing of the ocean (once around the world, across the North Pacific, Caribbean, Red Sea, North Atlantic, Indian Ocean, South China Sea....) Xtine

Welcome to the Heraclitus Tribe

Welcome to Tribe. My name is Eurotrash and i am your current Moderator for the heraclitus tribe. I'm a current crew member and hope to be a future crew member as well.

Tribe is a great venue for hosting interesting conversations and topics. Anyone who is a member can post a topic here, from gearlists to bioluminescence. Once the topics get going and are nice and thick it is easy to post a search within the topics to find what you are looking for. Send a new crew member to this tribe and have them look up topics like gearlist, Ethnosphere and donations and they can find what we have posted or send them the direst link to Gearlists. Now that you are a member you can go about inviting old members and prospective new members. Imagine if we had 100 previous crew members on here, it may be a bit easier to ask why genny 2 makes a strange noise once it passes 194, someone might know or you can find the old engineers and contact them all with a direct question. You can even email an event or question to all the members of this tribe and they will receive an email to their regular email. Now that i've said all this you can even add to this post and speak of some of the other benefits.
