Well..I've finally pinpointed a warning for myself.
My legs feel like they are burnt. Like someone poured burning water all over.
Then...within a day bam..OB.
I've finally discovered this after almost 3 years. I hate how this virus seems to play tricks on my mind and it changes.
After the first OB I didnt do so bad. Lately I'm having one a month. It's awful. I'm single again and for a minute I actually thought that regular sex helped the OB's to not happen..is that even possible?

Re: Prodrome
Fri, July 20, 2007 - 3:35 AMHey girl....yup...having sex on a regular basis actually contributes to you NOT having as many OB's. You're satisfied.....and life is great. You have compainionship, and sex....nothing to worry about.
When I get my outbreaks, I get lower back pain.....and my right leg feels like yours. When I touch it it's the craziest feeling ever.
Sorry to hear about you and your ex.....
I"d say we should be on the hunt together, but seriously......I'm so content w/ me. If someone of interest comes into my life, then ok.....if not...whatever. -

Re: Prodrome
Fri, July 20, 2007 - 11:24 PMdo you find that your general health goes down before an outbreak?
I"m just learning but it seems like I'm a bit run down just before an outbreak. maybe i'll get tired and kinda depressed or a yeast infection, or a headache or increased allergies. that sound plausible? -

Re: Prodrome
Sat, July 21, 2007 - 6:22 PMyep. I get this nasty fatigue. I swear I could sleep for 3 days if I could get away with it. Then I feel normal for a day and the burning on my leg begins.
I'm already depressed so if the H has anything to do with that, I probably would not notice. -

Re: Prodrome
Sun, July 22, 2007 - 10:40 PMi'm actually NOT depressed for a change so i notice. (yes, leaving that dude was sooo key!)
i don't know if i'd call it burning. but before i get a mouth sore, the area feels raw to my tongue and tastes alkaline, like blood. i bet that's akin to burning and tingling.
so i guess next would be to see if i can head off or shorten an outbreak next time i feel fatigued.
whew.
i like understanding well enough to act, rather than just being pushed around by the thing.
