When I first got HSV2 I was on birth control pills. The initial bothersome symptoms slowly but surely became few over the years. However, recently I came off birth control and now I seem to have gone back to square one...
Does anyone else have any experience with this?
I'm finding it really frustrating going back to square one after being quite okay with everything over the past few years. I eat healthy etc and the only thing that seems to have caused this drastic a change is the lack of being on birth control. I'd like to give my body a rest from the pill but don't want to feel like I'm always about to have an outbreak. My outbreaks must be triggered mainly by hormones and now that they are not controlled it seems HSV has got a hold of my system.
Should I hang in there and see if it subsides? Anyone else in or gone through a similar problem?

B.C hormones changed your body and subsidized your gland's normal production.
going off B.C... now your body may feel stressed due to its "old" roles it must begin practicing again.
Expect a year to be balanced out hormonally - it took me longer, for example I had nearly 142 days without a period (5 months after I stopped!!!!!!).
you are doing the right thing... giving your body a break.... I would say your herpes are just saying thanks to you for taking them off synthetic hormones -- but they haven't figured out how to say in a gentler way....
In the meantime, love your herpes.
Everytime mine come out to play, I offer them prayers, and cuddles and love - Its all I can do.
I mean really, there is enough room in this world for many expressions... and in my body (certainly) for many other creatures to exist in a balanced way.
My mantra? Herpes = Her Peace.
In my case, I find CHASTE BERRY tincture helps tremendously with balancing my hormones.
