Anyone interested? In addition to helping one another set up their structures and sharing hexayurt experiences, we could provide info to others on building their own structures. I've got bunch of USB drives from trade shows that info could be loaded on and given away.
Now's the time to get something started so we're more likely to get limited theme camp space.

yes, I think this is a great idea. I know some people in reno who'd be way into it. The other angle would be to team up with, say, Alternative Energy Zone, who're really into all things efficient, and might provide a lot of really savvy comments and suggestions.
Anyone want to head over to the AEZ folks and float the idea?

Re: 2008 hexayurt theme camp?
Fri, May 23, 2008 - 6:28 AMhere's the AEZ link: www.ae-zone.org/ ...related to Burning Man- and while there are no doubt a lotta cool people and ideas at BM... i would rather be beaten with a hammer than actually GO there. HATE crowds... and anything "crowded." Reading about it will have to do.
Meanwhile... the REAL opportunity for the hexayurt idea is in CHINA now: www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/a...a.earthquake/
