I was just curious: is there a particular organization that sets those up? I used to do a lot of protesting in 2002 and 2003. I even got arrested the morning after Bush declared the war had officially started. I haven't done much activism in a while, but I see folks standing on that corner with the signs and I was wondering who organizes it.

Re: Those anti-war demonstrators at York & Fig
Fri, September 28, 2007 - 6:17 PMI dunno.. I see them often.. I think that little park is a Vet park.. or there's something Vet related nearby... you could always stop & ask them sometime :)
There are also often people at the intersection of Eagle Rock Blvd & Colorado... all older folk.. One day I realised.. they would have been the age of the protesters back in the 60s.. so maybe some of them are lifetime activists.... -

Sat, September 29, 2007 - 4:50 PMGood point. Now that you mention it I do recall they are usually older, and yes I have seen similar groups at other intersections. Yeah I should talk to them soon. So far I've just honked :) -
