combination of popping and locking, undulations and accents found in traditional raqs sharqi, and hip hop choreography.
i blend it together so that the transitions from one style to the other is smooth and not too jarring.
i teach each choreography for 2 saturdays in a row. i use mostly popular urban music. though, sometimes i branch out with some old school. i'm also known to bust out with some cheezy pop music. (i warn my students ahead of time about that).
i guess that's it in a nutshell. -
