I guess the only "nickname" I've ever had has been Nikolai. It's my name in the SCA and has been for many years.

My nickname is Bibi. I've been called that since I was born. I thought it was my real name but it's not. In my family, all the females named Beatriz are called Bibi. I don't know why. By the time I was 18, I was so sick of it, I decided I didn't want to be called that anymore, so people call me Bea. So......I really rather appreciate my name now so my dance name with an -a on the end is my dance name......Bibia BTW, the a at the end is for my maiden name.

Well Ingrid has been my SCA name for years. Even still use it even though I don't play anymore.

Someone at work nicknamed me "Molly" and it stuck. I'm usually the one at work that makes the mass orders of food for people for lunch, and twice when I went to go pick it up, the person behind the counter asks me "Molly? Is your name Molly?" My name is nowhere near sounding like Molly, but my co-worker laughed and then went back and told everyone.

Another time my boss called me "Shredder" because I have a tendency to throw everything away in our shredding machine, but I didn't like that name. Reminds me of the ninja villain from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
