What are you planning to do with your garden this year?

Strictly flowers? One or more varieties perhaps??

Veggies maybe??? Go for the historically accurate or the I just love em and want to eat them and share them with everyone I know??

Please post, I would love to hear from all of you.

Me???? Well, I plan on pulling all the dead, winter killed plants out, terrorizing gophers, chipmunks and other 4 legged critters (my cat and the dogs included of course) and watching the grass grow since I can do that without killing it. LOL

I'm all excited about getting some seeds planted this morning!
If all goes well I should be eating some fine antique varieties of fruits and vegies this year at faire!!
I have WHITE carrots for us "common folk" and some really hard to obtain ORANGE carrots to serve to the nobles.
I have a melon that looks more like a squash than a melon, but is traced back to at least the seventh century.
My strawberries have poked their TINY seedling leaves through the dirt, and I can't wait until they are big enough to transplant!
(the strawberries were planted over a month ago, they take FOREVER to sprout!)
There is more, of course, but I'll wait til I get it planted to list it...

So, What is in YOUR garden??

Remember valium? Yeah, that remedy. Given to people for hysteria. Then you find out it was used as an effective RAT BAIT! Imagine what your breath might attract! EWWWW! Think that knowledge would help your hysteria? I grow it because its pretty, bunny and deer proof. Think they know something?--- and well ~~~ its got a great story behind it

It sets seeds prolifically and comes in pink some years.I love it. The bunnies and deer leave it alone as do the slugs.Insects are also no problem with this plant.Honey bees and butterflys love it.
