Hi everyone, I'm new to tribe, and wanted to see what you think of this new bellydance class/workout that I designed. I met the owner of a company called Spectral Journeys, www.spectraljourneys.com , and discovered that her company combines fitness workoutw with color healing and chakra clearing. She had not considered the option of using bellydance, though she has a patent pending on ALL fitness workouts done in this manner, so when I proposed it, she was all for it. I mean with the isolations we do, it's PERFECT!
I designed and choreographed the curriculum, and we're hoping to get as many instructors and dance studios accross the country certified ASAP. What do you ladies think of the idea? Is it something that you think you would be willing to teach?

Fri, November 3, 2006 - 8:02 AMOur first certification including the bellydance curriculum will be Sunday December 3. I've already started teaching the classes, and have been getting many compliments. So far, students have said that they feel more balanced, peaceful and happy with themselves/their lives after a class.
If your'e interested in learning more, the website is www.spectraljourneys.com , and you can get certified to teach the curriculum through an online course. It's not as helpful as the in-person workshop, but you do get the training manual, a separate book, and a few other things. -

Plus it's always interesting to see what "certification" processes are used in various disciplines.
It looks like there's a drawback though since if you do get certified, it only
"gives you the ability to teach Spectral Journeys Colorgized Wellness Program at studios that are licensed with Spectral Journeys and have purchased their lighting from us."
I can understand that, but it does really limit it.

Mon, November 6, 2006 - 2:56 PMI'm thinking that for bellydance, we'll offer a certification that includes a lamp, which will certify instructors to teach at any studio below a certain square footage (unfortunately, the lamp won't provide any benfits for areas over the limit). If the studios like the classes, and want to offer more classes or classes in more than one discipline, then they can get certified and buy the immersion lighting in a separate process. I think that works out better for dance instructors and studios.

The company has decided to move more towards a home kit, but I will be glad to field any questions you may have about the bellydance curriculum. :)

Sat, November 4, 2006 - 7:03 AMVery interesting! This sounds like we have similar elements of teaching holistically.
I can see where this would work well with bellydance and Energy Movement Therapies. I use Color Therapy with veils, and have had marvelous results, so I agree that it is beneficial in Chakra work also.
As for becoming certified, it's a wonderful concept, although just not practical for me, being so far away and doing most of my work at different locations or people's homes. Thankfully, I don't see what I'm doing with Color Veil Therapies as being competitive since I can't afford the lighting and equipment which the patent would require.
It sounds very exciting, I wish you great success.

Sun, November 5, 2006 - 4:19 PMI agree that it's a bit limited at the moment. We're working on that. It's expanded so much recently that we have a LOT of adjustments to make.
I think that color therapy with veils is a really good idea! And no, I don't see it as competitive. :) -

I wish I'd kept more documentation of my own journey, and I encourage you to do that with your concepts and processes. It's amazing to keep track of what happens, or as they say, nothing happens until its written down?

Cakra RRReikido is applied to the cakras, one by one, from the bottom to the
top. The lowest cakra is imagined as a round dirty red follow or billiard (follow)
energy ball. One centers, inhales the stalled energy and dis-creates
accordingly, while installing a brilliant red energy center instead.
This is o5 classics and a welcome daily ritual. The technique has been bestowing
copious and fast results where other methods failed after years of time
wasting routine. The first center, the red ball, will enhance lively activity.
The throat center is sky electric blue in this application, with silvery
specks. In o5, his center in particular gives excellent creative results.
The instructions for the Bindu and topmost center and beyond are for the
masters. One has to be informed in detail about the topmost center (that
