It makes me crazy when looking at a new CD of Middle Eastern music that the back cover, where the tracks are all named, that sometimes the track TIMINGS aren't posted. If I'm looking for a piece of music that is 3 - 5 minutes or 5 - 7 minutes or 7 - 10 minutes (as I'm sure other dancers must do this) I'd like to know by looking at the CD how long each song is so that I can see if I'm looking at the right animal. If a CD doesn't have track times listed, I'll likely *not* buy it.
Soooo... is there some reason why ALL CDs don't have the time lengths of each track posted? Can we make that happen? Or am I living in fantasyland?

Re: CD Pet Peeve....
Thu, March 1, 2007 - 12:08 PMThat is a great point. We usually put the track lengths somewhere on the CD...We will keep this in mind with future releases.
Thanks!

Re: CD Pet Peeve....
Mon, June 11, 2007 - 2:14 PMI am looking for some of the older, classics of Egyptian music.
Any suggestions? The songs that were popular in the 70's and 80's.

Re: CD Pet Peeve....
Mon, June 11, 2007 - 6:09 PMfor me, I prefer having them on BOTH, the case and the CD itself.
That is because if I am listening at home would refer to the case/packaging.
But when I go to a gig -- or, especially to teach a class -- I usually would be carrying multiple CD and in that circumstance, I transfer the CDs into a multi-holder traveling thing.
