2007: The Vibration of the Year for the Spiritual Other

Weaving is one of my favorite words. It evokes a sense of a pattern, of energies flowing in and out, twining together to create a tapestry, an image and in our case a vibration or tone.

Each year I send my senses inward to find my personal message, what it is that is coming to me in this time, what I have begun, what I am beginning and what is ending, to get a flavor, an essence of that which I have helped in the making for myself.

I think, I feel, that Others, the spiritual Other, those that bring their own path into being, be they artist, healer, mother or brother, have a tone as well and I am here to bring this message; not as an authority but as a speaker. I hope you can add your voice and your thoughts about this energy as well.

Otherhoodlight, as I have said, is going through some changes, and this year the awakening of the concept of this vibration that is weaving together for all of us, is a beginning.

You will also find a monthly, new moon, posting, narrating some of the energies that I perceive are present in our vibrational fields, universal beams of change, cause, effect, contemplation and action.

Eyes closed, sense open, feelers traveling out into the world, sensing the Spiritual Other, I perceive the Web of Light and it feels to say, "Weaving."


This year of 2007, there is a call for community action. That may be coming together in groups or with like-minded friends. This strengthens the energy that we have personally, building on our power base, and it also empowers us collectively by increasing the number of us that are resonating with the healing and creative vibrations that we all tap into. Regardless of our faith, our practice or our belief, this is a strong time of collective power.

Spend some time meditating on your inner self, your core and following this, focus on the greater creative source. Spend time seeking answers which lead to new paths to others and Others so that you can find where the creative force within you is guiding you. It may be artistic pursuits, music or spending more time with your family and finding the essence of that love and passion there.

Meet with Others, with your contemporaries, students and teachers, share your vision, your ideas, and learn and grow together. In this way, you are weaving that personal vision into the greater vision. You are connecting intimately with that internal source and then sharing it, affirming your inner connections, stimulating your mind and finding fulfillment in the things that call you to joy. This then links you with others, Others, who are seeking and doing the same. It builds up our diverse community of many peoples, who's diversity is our beauty and our connections internally and externally, our strength.



Pink and Green. Colors are important to vibration, they are the light reflected, abstracted into a visual form that we all can perceive. They carry the power of the energy through representation and through resonance. These two particular colors respectively represent peace and understanding, and, growth and new life that is healthy and strong. They represent our peaceful and accepting nature opening to the new growth we are resonating with.

Wearing these colors, in our clothing, our jewelry, even using them in our projects, paintings, even using them in our energy work (our use of the Life Force Energy through our Will) and visualizations with events, people, places and concepts will have a remarkable effect on our world. Affirming the tone.


Roses and Blessings. Choose a rose this year because it represents the peace of the blessings of the power that we will all be working with. The rose may be yellow, pink, red, or even blue or purple… the color has a personal significance to how you will be working with the energy. As it is, the rose is the image of the gift we are helping to transmit.

Blessings have a whole lot to do with gratitude.

When we are in a place of feeling grateful for what we have, and not focusing on what we want or do not have, then we have lost the blessing way. When we enter a state of meditation or prayer, even when we go into the creative process, we find the center within that already has the abundance we are seeking… when we cannot, when we come from fear, lack, loss or sorrow, from the "I NEED" place, we help to create these things, rather than the happiness we are seeking to expand.

Our world has turned into a strange direction in the last four or five years. We've lost the Rose of Blessing, and if we want to help change the events around us in our world, if we want to activate the healing on a larger scale, if we want our messages and insights to reach a greater community -and it needs to!- we need to find the place of gratitude again.



Find the Divine Feminine. There is much to be found in our female nature, women AND men. This does not equate to forsaking any other divinity that you have but instead asks for you to find your nurturing, caring, protective, receptive and feminine attributes as they will help you in receiving and then translating the vibration of the year. If you are Catholic, find Mary; Should you be Pagan, seek the Goddess or the Earth Mother. It may be that your very own female relatives represent that wholly female beauty and feminine abundance.



Not the Surges in Power. The wax and wane, the rise and fall, the light to darkness to light transitions. The feminine is about change, transformation, and the immortal nature of the invisible-yet-tangible nature within us. These are hidden gifts here that will emerge. Tools and methods that will assist you throughout the year will emerge that you had not noticed within yourself.

These messages can come to us at any time, it is true, but when the vibration rises as it is now, it is important to find this wave as it rises so that you can activate the frequency and the nature that arises from it. Not only are you moving into living life in the natural cycle but you are also taking the opportunity to find, to rediscover the beauty that you may have not seen within yourself, or others, before.



It is time to make change, to consciously move our lives and by cause and effect, shape the life of the world around us by helping to introduce greater amounts of this energy into it.

Remember that this is just as important for the world as it is for you as a conscious, living human being. Your gifts and talents should flow into your life: your home, your relationships, your work, shopping, bathing, eating, disagreementsand mmisunderstandingsIf the vibration doesn't apply here, it will never apply in the world and so will have no effect. In short it is a wasted gift and a vain pursuit because you have done nothing with it.



I want to personally remind you regardless of any path or religion, that you follow, to be conscious of your breathing, your diet, how active you are and in the way you interact with others. We are all becoming, we are all living, and all things aside, it is up to us, each of us, to make this a better place for all. Conscious living is living awake, it isn't necessarily easy or hard, but it is a way which opens us up to the potential to be our potential. Do you see?
