the hoopaholics tribe is a hooping collective formed by The Barbarellas, a hulahoop troupe based in Sydney. After forming in the early months of 2005 the Barbarellas first gig was the Surry Hills Festival in May of this year. Since then we have been meeting regularly at Bondi Beach where we train, teach and perform in hoopaholic sessions. With a two hour time slot we warm up, hoop down, learn and share tricks and perform in front of the camera making photo and video art along the way.
