I watched this video when it was featured on hooping.org, and it actually made me tear up a little bit. I can't believe I missed such a wonderful, pioneer event within the hooping community. I've seen footage filmed of other events, and this is the first one that really made me feel like something special and revolutionary was going on. Seeing what I consider to be heavy weights within the hooping community talk about their experiences there is so inspirational. So many wonderful hoopers out there have no idea how many people they touch and inspire, and I think it's a great opportunity to get out there and do some community building. I hardly ever post comments or videos on tribe, but I've been watching the videos posted here from the likes of Revolva, Spiral, sharna rose, Hoopnotica, Hoopalicious, Julahoop, and so many others for a little over a year now, and I've learned just about everything I know from watching the videos they so graciously post. When Tina from Spirit Hoops said it was the first time that she felt like she was going to walk among her people, I could completely relate. I sincerely hope there is another Hoop Convergence soon, I refuse to miss the next one.

      Erin,
Thank you so much for the thoughtful and touching post. I believe I can speak for most of us when I say we are honored that *this* gathering touched you so much. It was co-created by so many talents, energies and efforts and wouldn't have been the same without the myriad of voices and skills. I'm still in awe of the AWESOME that was there - on every level.

We hold the knowledge that we seek. As we come together, we have exponential insight, inspiration and ingenuity. I am grateful to be continually moved, and if I may move others, then I bow to the creator in thanks for letting me be a vehicle for spinning bliss.

Looking forward to seeing you next year!
      Julia
