clothing/stuff: trade at con 09?

i have heard this was done last year:

if we have clothes, cheap jewelry, fabric, etc...are we encouraged to bring it to swap with/gift to other hoopers?

i have some clothes that are too tight that i want to donate...they are not costumes, or even "hooping" clothes (they're jeans, shirts, fabric, etc)
should i bring these?

    We don't have a specific time/space planned for this, but I think it is possible to put up a table in the marketplace for items to trade---or maybe a different room on one day. I have some stuff to contribute too!
