I've just joined this tribe and keen to improve my core.
Just read a thread here and its mentioned about the right size.
Where can i find the information to find the right size for me/
I am 5'4"
also someone said they moved down a size inch by inch why? are smaller hoops better. If someone could explain

Re: What size hoop
Wed, August 15, 2007 - 10:29 AMYour hula-hoop should be a diameter which falls in between your chest and your belly button.
The bigger and heavier your hoop the easier it will be to hula-hoop. Smaller and lighter hoops can require a great deal of effort and speed to keep a-going.
There are also different pressure rating that can be used, some are heavier and more rigid (160psi & 200psi) and others are more flexible and lighter (100psi) More flexible hoops have a more organic feel, but they dont necessarily hold to a good round form.
I like to put water in some of my hoops, and seal 'em with silicone caulk. The water adds a very interesting inertia property as well as weight. They seem to move with a mind of their own almost... lol
hope this helps.
