Are there decently, modestly-priced hotels or motels near there?

Also, as you may have already heard from Annie we suggest finding a hotel on Hotels.com. I have noticed that the least expensive one (where i am probably staying) is the Sandman Inn which is $103 per night.

I suspect this is the same hotel listed at $84 in Goleta through hotwire.com. Goleta is a suburb of Santa Barbara. As long as you have a car, it should be fine to do the drive. Let us know if you simply want the hotel closest to the training site.
Cheap, closer to the site, but still needing daily transport, would be this one at $124:

Now if I could only find a partner, I could come!!!! I'm still looking, contacting girls here and there, but everyone's bailing out on me. I hope I find one before time runs out!
