Hello to all, I'm new to tribes, I have landed a brilliant gig hooping at Oxegen (biggest festival in Ireland) and I want to really give it my all, I was looking at this costume, all in rainbow colours

my question to you guys is do you think can I hoop over the fluff or would it be too slippy? I'd say I would be ok, I'll have fishnets underneath the skirt so that would be good grip on the legs. Opinions please
Brilliant tribe by the way, was looking at the other topics and they're very informative

Wed, May 28, 2008 - 4:43 AMI'd think it would be ok. There is plenty of skin between the skirt and top for grip. -

Wed, May 28, 2008 - 5:54 AMI'm with Skully. You shouldn't have a problem. A number of us hoop in furry leg warmers often. I wouldn't think the skirt/ top/ arm cuffs would hinder you - just don't fire hoop in that outfit! :) -

I like the fur. I have some furrier leggys than those and they are only moderately in the way.

Thu, May 29, 2008 - 2:36 AMBrilliant. Thanks for your feedback, I feel a bit more confident about this costume now. I'm getting matching rainbow felted hairbands www.etsy.com/view_listing.php by Skully on Etsy.com, which is an awesome site by the way, I can totally see myself having to cut up my credit card because of this site. I think this is going to be a really fun costume.
Hugs,
Mairead. -
