Re: How to Tape a Hoop
Mon, May 21, 2007 - 7:34 AMHey Natasha - random question?
How do you get the really skinny pieces of tape? For example the ones you used on your rainbow hoop on the edges of the deco tape? I've tried ripping the gaffing tape, but that hasn't worked out to well. And I have yet to figure out how to cut the tape evenly and without allowing the tape to stick to itself. Is there some secret or are you just finding really skinny tape? -

Re: How to Tape a Hoop
Mon, May 21, 2007 - 8:27 AMThere is a tape "splitter" you can use. There is a video about it around here somewhere. I'll try to find it for you -

Re: How to Tape a Hoop
Mon, May 21, 2007 - 9:11 PMthe skinny tape is 1/4 inch vinyl/electrical tape ordered from identi-tape.com .
also, i think the tape splitter only works for tapes that have a peel-off back, such as the mirror tapes.
