Since this is a new tribe, I thought I would start a thread for to introduce your self.
I'm Anne, I live in Lafayette and I started this tribe to help fellow parents meet other parents (or friends of parents) who enjoy the same activities... like hooping! Please join, cause I feel like a dork with no members =P

I don't have any kids .... however I really like the idea of hanging out and hooping or doing other activities NOT focused around drinking and drugs. I love kids (am planning on being an art teacher) and most of their parents!

Sun, October 21, 2007 - 8:11 PMhaha thanks! I think so too, which is why I want to be one. Preferably with high school kids, cause (in my opinion) those are the kids that need the most help. They are going through so many changes and then have to prepare for college ... its a hard four years. Art helped me through those years and I want to help kids through those years as a way of giving back all the wonderfulness I was given by my art teacher. -

Mon, October 22, 2007 - 8:04 PMHey- I'm Stephanie, I live in Loveland in a community called Sunrise Ranch. I live here with my husband and 2 yr. old son. We'd love to have other like-minded families/friends to hang with. We enjoy hooping, and playing music (we both play guitar and sing), playing board games, card games, hiking, enjoying the outdoors. Really we're up for most anything that sounds like a good time in a wholesome, meaningful way. Corny, but true. See now I've joined the dork-dom.
BTW- On Friday, Nov. 2 we're having an open mic type night here and everyone is welcome to come hang out, and share their talent if you want! Could be a good chance to meet eachother. -
