I was wondering if anyone would be interested in teaching the disabled how to hoopdance. The company I work for is opening a day center in Delaware were special needs individuals can come create, show and sell their art work. They are looking for a weekly dance activity and I mentioned that I hoop and was then asked to see if anyone would be willing to come and teach. As far as I'm aware there aren't any certified teachers here in Ohio, but it will just be a fun activity for the community up here in Delaware, I don't think it will get very technical with the moves either, just maybe one or two people to come and help out with the basics. We just got our building so everything is still in the process of being planned and mapped out.
Anyone who is interested please feel free to send me a message here on tribe or at my e-mail, Morgan.Orick@gmail.com
Thanks!

Re: Teaching Hooping to the Disabled
Wed, November 18, 2009 - 10:32 AMTo everyone who has responded, right now we are still moving in the furniture and setting up the areas. It will either be volunteer or paid depending on what is set up between the instructors and my managers. I will try and keep everyone updated too.
