"Ho'oponopono" by E. Victoria Shook is a western, social worker-type treatment of the topic.

A truer Hawaiian orientation to the topic is contained in the two volumes of "Nana I Ke Kumu" ("Look to the Source") by the great native Hawaiian scholar, Mary Kawena Pukui, and her co-authers Haertig and Lee.

A form of Ho'oponopono is also mentioned in "Fundamentals of Hawaiian Mysticism" by Charlotte Berney. This is a book about Huna.

Native Books, in Hawai'i, sells the first two books, available through their website, online. Will post the URL in another message.

FYI, I've been searching in my local library for these books, the only one to show up is the one by Charlotte Berney. Some of them don't even show up on Amazon....

Thanks Pat! It's great when the stuff shows up on Amazon, but buying from Native Books online is easy too--and they have an extensive list of Hawaiiana. It's all they sell. And they were really supportive of Ramsay's first visit out here to the Bay Area--they let him take a number of books to sell. Just an FYI...
