Hiya HooppaiNers!

It's been a kick-ass year of HooppaiN! I am so happy to have been able to host so many of these events at my pad, The House of Hoop Pain. However, the time has come for me to move out. I'll be leaving this pad by the end of the month of June. Still in the city I shall dwell but not in a space large enough to carry on the tradition.

I will miss the bi-monthly mayhem and all of you! Of course, we'll still be hooping together at various events and such so I'm not too bummed.

I can use your help. Normally, I wouldn't ask such a thing, but if you've participated in HooppaiN, you know the toll it can take on a space. The ceiling is totally covered in wonderful scars, as are the walls and appliances. Us hoopers can appreciate the "damage" but for some reason, my landlord doesn't. If you can help, please come to the next and final HooppaiN on Wednesday, June 11th at 7pm. You can hoop in an empty living room for an hour and then we'll all attack, painting the ceiling, touching up the walls, and cleaning hoop marks off the appliances. If we all pitch in, I figure we can knock it out in short order. Then, it's a party on the roof! That's right. A roof party! I've got a small grill so we can cook dogs and stuff. Feel free to hoop on the roof or just kick it.

I hope you all can make it. Not just to help clean up but to see you one last time at this old house of mine which, because of you, will forever be etched in my mind. - dBug
