Horary astrology is an ancient mode of divination used to answer a particular question that might be burning on your brain. "Does this person love me?" "Will my loan be approved?" "Where are my lost diamond earrings?" Horary is a great way to answer these types of questions! Practice makes perfect, so let's practice together!

HORARY TRIBE COMMANDMENTS:
1.) This Tribe isn't a free divination service and is for individuals interested in learning horary astrology and sharing knowledge and second opinions. There are many professional astrologers out there that can help you with your questions if you are not interested in learning horary. Horary is not something you can learn over night - buy books, read articles, etc.
2.) You must offer your own interpretation of a chart that you post. Horary charts are delineated by astrologers. Make sure that you are knowledgeable enough to read a chart, are able to come to a conclusion on your own and can rely on your own interpretation. If you are constructing a chart, it is your chart (you are the astrologer!) and the interpretation/outcome is your responsibility. It is understandable to want a second opinion from other astrologers, but if you are asking the tribe to read a chart for you, you should not be creating your own horary charts. Beginners are welcome, but please put some time and thought into trying to interpret your chart before asking the tribe for assistance.
3.) When asking a question, please post all relevant information, and keep your question clear and concise. You can only ask one question at a time, though various factors might be involved in one question. Please include a link to your chart (see how to insert a chart below).
4.) Do not delete questions after someone has given their interpretation. They have sacrificed their time in offering their assistance, so please give feedback and help them improve their technique.
5.) Give the final outcome! How can we ever know if our predictions are accurate or not (and thus able to learn from our mistakes) without a final result? Some questions may not be answered quickly or even at all, but please respond accordingly (i.e., "I never found out," etc.)
6.) Do not repeat questions. Rephrasing a question is still asking the same question, and the cosmos are generally not amused. A question should only be asked once. If you do not believe that the chart is right, there is no sense in pulling up another chart. Either horary is right or it isn't.
7.) Perhaps the most important of all rules: never, never approach any form of divination fatalistically. Horary is meant to help guide you and prepare for things that may happen (or change them for the better), but you should ultimately feel free will and not let any chart discourage what you want in life. More important questions are likely to be accurate vs. frivolous ones that hold no real meaning for the querent, other than entertainment value.
8.) Personal attacks: In order to maintain a positive atmosphere, no personal attacks or insults towards any Tribe Member will be tolerated. While discussions may become heated, it is not an excuse to result to attacks or insults. (There is a difference between a passionate, respectful discussion and one that delves into personal matters.) Think of it as debating issues, not individuals. When the line is crossed, the violators will be warned once and potentially banned.

NOTE:
Your birth information is not necessary in order to ask a question. The "birth" of a question is based on the time/date/place that the question was asked by the astrologer. If the astrologer is not the querent (the person asking the question), they will generally use the time/date/place that they understood the querent's question.

HOW TO POST A CHART:
1. Go to www.astro.com to create a free astrology chart
2. Save the chart to your desktop as an image file
3. Upload the image file into the forum photo album: tribes.tribe.net/horary-astrology/photos
4. Copy/paste the chart photo link into your post
